Biography
Dr. Ashish G. Patel serves as assistant dean for Clinic Operations and division director for the Division of Clinical Dentistry at 黑料社区app School of Dentistry. He previously held the roles of clinic lead and director of the Accelerated D.D.S. Program. In his current capacity, Dr. Patel oversees clinical operations and compliance while providing clinical instruction in Clinical Dentistry, Operative Dentistry and Restorative Dentistry to third- and fourth-year Dental students.
Dr. Patel earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Detroit Mercy's School of Dentistry and completed a Master of Science in Dentistry in Operative Dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry. With extensive clinical practice experience, he integrates hands-on expertise with academic leadership to prepare students for contemporary dental practice.
Since joining the Detroit Mercy faculty in early 2011, Dr. Patel has been recognized for his commitment to student learning and clinical excellence. He is a recipient of the Dr. Charles Cooper Award for Most Outstanding Faculty, along with additional honors, and was selected by the senior dental class in recognition of his dedication to fostering critical thinking and the application of foundational knowledge in patient care.
